Featured artists included David Villorente, Greg Lamarche, Andrea Von Bujdoss, and Bryan Blue. The party was packed. The artists chosen displayed their individual styles, but all of the works had an over arching theme of community. We had a lengthy conversation with Queen Andrea, who shed light on her energetic style, which borrows many of its concepts from the street art of the 1980’s New York movements. One artist produced completely new art work live. Revolt teamed up with Toyota for the event. They provided a paint ball shooting booth, which automatically shot off rounds every time someone used the hashtag #makeyourmark. The collaboration represented an organic relationship between two brands that are attempting to push the consumer/viewer to involve themselves more in the events they care about. It would not be a Revolt event without the presence of music. Talented DJ’s Hannah Rad, Austin Millz and Shash’U had everyone dancing.
