Earlier this year, in an interview with GQ Magazine, Kanye West expressed his will to release his new single, “All Day,” in the coming weeks. That interview was released in May, and with a couple weeks left in the year, we still don’t have any new Kanye West music. Well, thanks to Seth Rogen, who is currently acting in his latest bromantic comedy with James Franco, The Interview, we know it isn’t because the new music doesn’t exist.

In his cover story for the new issue of Rolling Stone, Rogen explains that not long after he and Franco parodied Kanye’s “Bound 2” video about a year ago, West cornered Rogen at a New York hotel and told him that he had appreciated their comedic remake, aptly titled “Bound 3.” West then promptly invited Rogen to his limo, where he performed his entire new album for him.
