J. Cole’s 3rd album is finally here
As of just over 3 weeks ago, no one knew this was happening. However, after Cole wrote a letter in which he told the story of how he purchased the house he and his mother were once forced out of–2014 Forest Hills Drive–the movement was born, and the announcement of his 3rd album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, was made.
Since then, Cole hasn’t released any singles or music videos, or gone on a major press run. There are no features on the album, and it hasn’t been sold to any premiere media company to be sold through any app. It’s his subtlest album roll-out yet, but his most impactful.
