In an interview with 95.7 The Game, the Golden State Warriors GM Bob Myers admitted that the Warriors had reached out to legendary shooter Ray Allen to gauge his interest in joining the team that currently holds the NBA’s best record. And while Myers expressed interest in having Allen bring his veteran leadership to his young team, he’s literally worried about having too many shooters in the tuck.

“Here’s the problem. We don’t have enough minutes as it is, so it’s just a question of chemistry.”

Can you imagine that? Myers is worried that his team is already stacked with too many sure-fire shooters. Well, he’s got a point. Stephen Curry is the best shooter alive and his co-conspirator, Klay Thompson, is becoming a more-than-adequate #2. Not to mention Harrison Barnes, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala all have formidable outside games. He may not have room for a first-ballot Hall of Fame NBA champion. This guy’s sleeping a lot better at night then say, Sam Hinkie, the GM of the Philadelphia 76ers. It’ll be interesting to see how this situation shakes out, especially considering just about everybody is expecting Allen to go contribute to LeBron’s quest to bring a championship to Cleveland as a member of the Cavaliers.
