It’s a Tru Jack CIty
Mr. Hair Weave Killa, has been doing a good job at keeping us entertained with various hits, and singles. 2 Chainz has released his debut solo album Based on a T.R.U. Story back in 2012 and kept it coming ever since. After speaking with Revolt, Chainz says that he’ll be dropping a new album in the beginning of 2015, “Top of the year is the rollout of the whole campaign with my third album,” says 2 Chainz. He also mentions a mixtape Tru Jack City, but it’s mainly for up and coming artists from his hometown, Atlanta. The mixtape is said to include artists such as Travis Porter, Peewee Longway, Short Dawg, and many others.
As the rapper goes on to talk about the mixtape, he adds:
“It’s real ratchet, it’s real street. It’s catered for the core,” 2 Chainz said. “We’re a crew full of individuals. It’s one thing about TRU. It’s about being the real you… We just putting on. We got something to bring to the table and we got something to say.”
