It was a battle between two very appropriate candidates. Idris Elba and Kanye West squared off to claim GQ’s Most Stylish Man of 2014. When it came down to the final decision, all fingers pointed to Kanye. Fair enough but no one can deny Idris Elba was pretty tough competition. Ye’s been outspoken as to how difficult it had been without music this year. Even if Kanye inspires hundreds of  fashion magazines, GQ included, he couldn’t hide how difficult its been solely focusing on fashion and letting music take a backseat somewhat.
