There’s something controversy sparking in Miami after the Dolphins lost to the New York Jets, 37-24. Dolphins wide receiver Mike Wallace was taken out of the game when a teammate of his scored a touchdown. Citing “coach’s decision”, the real reason he didn’t play was that Mike requested to be taken out the game. His wishes was granted as he sat out during the entire second half as we watched Rex Ryan wins his final game as Jets coach in Sun Life Stadium. Miami finished the season 8-8 and as decent of a season the team had, there’s some player personnel that needs to be address. Avoiding to say the wrong thing, wide receiver Brandon Gibson decided to step and to answer Wallace’s questions that the media threw at him.

This can be a serious issue that Miami needs to deal with. Wallace is a Pro Bowl receiver who tasted success as a Super Bowl champion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Miami signing him to a 5 year $60 million dollar contract deal, Mike and the coaches at Miami has some reconciling to do in order to compete for a NFC East division title next year. Miami’s quarterback Ryan Tannehill had a record breaking season, joining Dan Marino as the only two quarterbacks in Miami Dolphin history to pass over 4,000 yards. By Tannehill putting up monster numbers such as this, the sky is the limit for the slowly improving and young Miami Dolphin squad who are slowly positioning themselves to dethrone the New England Patriots as NFC East division kings.
