It’s going to be a big year for Marvel Comics. With an upcoming sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and a reboot of the Fantastic Four film series this year, the comic book giant also looks to introduce a new character to their cinematic universe — Ant-Man.
Marvel has teased us this past week with mini-sized trailers (a play on Ant-Man nearly microscopic stature), and teaser trailers for their teaser trailers, but now we get a good look at the film. Paul Rudd will play the titular role, and if the trailer is any confirmation there will be tons of action and Rudd’s sense of humor will present and accounted for.
The film stars Michael Douglass, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, Wood Harris, John Slattery, T.I. and many more with Peyton Reed (Yes Man, The Break-Up) directing.
Ant-Man hits theaters on July 17, enjoy the trailer above.
