On Thursday, January 8, W’s editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi, editor-at-large Lynn Hirschberg, and André Balazs celebrated the “Best Performances” portfolio featured in the February issue and toasted the Golden Globes at Chateau Marmont.
The portfolio, shot by Tim Walker, showcases actors who have put in outstanding performances over the year, and provides a predictive first look at those who are sure to be favorites in the coming awards season.
Featured actresses Amy Adams, Jessica Chastain, Diane Kruger, Rosamund Pike and Reese Witherspoon were joined by Gillian Anderson, Ellar Coltrane, Jamie Dornan, Robert Duvall, Salma Hayek, Ethan Hawke, Sarah Hyland, Joshua Jackson, Rose McGowan, Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe, Quvenzhane Wallis, David Oyelowo, Kate Walsh and Christoph Waltz.
Fashionistas in attendance included Max Azria, Naomi Campbell, Greg Chait, Peter Dundas, Toni Garnn, Liz Goldwyn, Leon & Yana Max, Kate and Laura Mulleavy, Scott Sternberg, Carlos Souza and Ellen Von Unwerth.
