Check out the international man, Azure, in his latest video “Heirloom.”

Russell Simmons’ All Def Digital has gained traction in recent weeks with their program The Signal, a proven artist accelator.  This week, The Signal, which features what we at The Source would call “unsigned hype,” is featuring an HBK Gang representer, who goes by the name of Azure.

“Heirloom,” which was shot in London, England, was produced by IAMSU! and Kuya Beats.  This video is the first visual from Azure’s upcoming project, Leap Year LP.  This is the first we’ve seen of him since his project, Mint Condition, which was released May 2013.  The HBK Gang rhyme-slinger is also releasing a project with Down 2 Earth, with their debut LP Wildfire set to release on February 10th.

“Betcha didn’t picture me, jettin off to sicily,
Face on your retina, swag a little pixel-y,
Deeper than 6 degrees lower, I fend to be the poet” – @azureee

Shot and directed by Farid Xan, the video has a renaissance feel.  The lyricist journeys through a story of honesty, conveying a message written for common people with his “liquor store flow.”

Checkout the video for “Heirloom” by the Richmond, California native above, and be sure to stay tuned for more of his work.
