Emma Watson is perfect to play Belle because Emma is the definition of perfection…
It was announced that “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson was cast as Belle in Disney’s live-action production of “Beauty And The Beast.” The film will be directed by Bill Condon who directed “Dreamgirls” and two Twilight films. Since its release in 1991, “Beauty and the Beast” has grossed over $145 million and also a hit Broadway in 1994. This film does not currently have a release date, but more information will provided as it comes out. Emma has also updated her Facebook page announcing her role in the film. This part is something that is near and dear to her heart. She grew up with this film.
I’m finally able to tell you… that I will be playing Belle in Disney’s new live-action Beauty and the Beast! It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I’ll get to dance to ‘Be Our Guest’ and sing ‘Something There’. My six year old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can’t wait for you to see it. Emma xx
