Fashion has always been an intricate aspect of Hip Hop culture and has always been taken acutely serious by all that have ever considered themselves serious about their respective skill. Whether it was a b-boy/girl, a DJ, an emcee, or a graf writer, everybody wants to dress fly.

‘Fresh Dressed: A Documentary On The Fashion Of Hip Hop’, a film put together by Mass Appeal‘s Sasha Jenkins in conjunction with CNN Films, studies how the fashion statements made within a culture that rose from the streets of South Bronx and other NYC neighborhoods were perceived individually and globally. The film even boasts production credits from rapper/actor Nas, with appearances from Kanye, Dapper Dan, Thirstin Howl the 3rd of the legendary Lo-Lifes, and many more.
