Seattle Seahawks defensive backs Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas are both pro bowl players and cornerstones of the much hyped Seattle defense. Both players suffered injuries during the NFC Championship game against the Green Bay Packers, Sherman (Elbow) and Thomas (Shoulder). While at Sundays Pro Bowl game, both insisted that they will be playing in the upcoming Super Bowl whether they are at 100% or not.

This was music to the ears of New England Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner, who was on the Seahawks when they won last years Super Bowl in dominating fashion. Browner did not play in last years big game after being suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. While speaking with ESPN, Browner showed his enthusiasm and desire to win as he made it clear that he will not be taking it easy on his former teammates.

“Those dudes are tough … but at the end of the day, this is about the Super Bowl. I’m going to tell my teammates, ‘Go hit [Sherman’s] elbow, go hit [Thomas’] shoulder. Try to break it if you can.’ You’re going to be my best friend after the game, but at the end of the day, I know you want that Super Bowl just as bad as I do.”
