Arguably one of Nike and Kevin Durant‘s best models, the Nike KD 7 has seen a variety of colorways since their initial release, but the latest pair just may be the G.O.A.T.
The Nike KD 7 PRM “Aunt Pearl” are the most angelic in comparison to the other colorways- which is fitting since they were created in memory of Durant’s aunt who passed away from lung cancer back in 2000. The “Aunt Pearl” sees an all-white base this time around -complete with pink Flywire and gold brand logos- though it’s the redesigned wing strap that really makes this pair stand out. On the back of the strap a tribute to Aunt Pearl can be seen, with an angel appearing on the back of the tongue.
Teaming up this year with The Kay Yow Cancer Foundation, proceeds from the shoe will be given to the Nike partner upon their February 19th release. Catch this commemorative pair for $170 at Nike retailers, and see more detailed photos of them below courtesy of Kenlu.
