Drake might have just crashed the Internet late Thursday night when he unveiled his brand new project titled “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late”. In a very similar fashion to the way Beyoncé released her previous effort, Drizzy gave no prior warning or announcement. Though early Thursday, Drake released a 15 minute short film titled ‘Jungle‘, which was very well received by fans. But the clip did not foreshadow an impending release. Last summer he revealed that his forthcoming project would be titled “Views From 6”, but never gave a release date. No word on whether that project is still in the works.

It was also confirmed that Drake would be releasing a mixtape in 2015, his first since 2009’s “So Far Gone”, but this new project is currently up for sale on iTunes, so that leaves an air of mystery as to the origins of this new music. Furthermore, amidst all of the label drama surrounding Lil Wayne and Birdman, Drake’s label is listed as Cash Money Records. The 17 track project features contributions from Travi$ Scott, OVO Sound’s PARTYNEXTDOOR and Young Money head honcho Lil Wayne.
