The second collection to incorporate an outer space theme was “Chapter.”
The best part about this collection was the amazing styling and complex layering technique used by the stylist JAK. Pure dark hues of green, purple, blue, and black were used. Dark room, dark designs, white fixtures and bright lights is how I would describe my experience at the Chapter Unknown presentation. Every model seemed to have huge, dark pupils almost as if they were really black, and the hair styling by Oribe contributed to the theme giving the models an extraterrestrial look.
With the models also posing in-front of these crystal like pods reflecting LED lights you could really see the colors of the clothes, again approaching black in hue. I also enjoyed the positions/poses of the models, not doing too much or too little by just standing straight up or the female model that was laying on the white stone bed in the middle of the room. All of the models were wearing black Dr. Martens which really looked great with every outfit.
The collection was presented as a part of New York Men’s Day (NYMD) sponsored by Cadillac at Industria Studios.
