This season, generous pleats and elongating silhouettes dominated the logo-emblazoned Fall/Winter ’15 HBA runway.

The presentation was held in a construction zone –  the bare brick walls and industrial feel accentuated the stark white runway placed in the middle of the room. After a brief interlude of jazz dubbed over with vocals in French, the show began with an asymmetrical zip puffer jacket paired with fully pleated cargo pants. The garments themselves were a contrast to the lively jazz music and featured mainly solid black, white, and tan – with the exception of two pieces done in a traffic cone orange, a solitary denim jacket, and another done in florescent red.

As usual, the sleeves fell low, the boxy silhouette was favored, and the grommets from last season were carried over-laced with shoestrings rather than bungee cords. The styling was almost as androgynous as the clothes were, with many of the models donning stocking over their faces detailed with marker’d in cheek bones, eyebrows, and side burns. The idea was to “create a new person and face shape – to give them something unidentifiable”.

Mac Cosmetics curated the make up look for the show.
