Mark Tango and Estel Day showed an eclectic mix of Herringbone, Tartan and Gingham prints in different weights of materials.
The collection featured the classic prints in fall staple colors such as muted reds, greens, and blues. These colored prints were showcased on silks, wools, knits and lace to bring out the rockstar fashion sense in everyone. One interesting silhouette in the show was the cape. This superhero must-have has transitioned itself to this season’s staple item. Take your pick of dramatic billowy silk, knit dress, or warm wool. The carefree silhouette is countered by the sculpted shoulders on each piece to help draw the eye to movement of the rest of the cape. The juxtaposition of structure and movement elements in the collection left the guests gushing after the show.
