Lloyd Banks‘ second studio album Rotten Apple was a play on his hometown’s (NYC) nickname, “The Big Apple.” Production credits include, Ron Browz, Eminem, and frequent Aftermath collaborator Needlz. The album also included features from classic rap acts Rakim and southern rap legend Scarface. Though Rotten Apple sold around 300,000 less than Banks’ first studio album, The Hunger For More, the album still debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 200 chart moving 143,000 copies. Rotten Apple included club banger “Hands Up,” as well as the street anthem “Cake.”
