Ndamukong Suh To Sign $114 Deal With Miami Dolphins On Tuesday

Ndamukong Suh is taking his talents to South Beach

Ndamukong Suh, the fiery, voracious and talented defensive lineman who helped make the Lions’ D a formidable one, is flying south this summer to join the AFC East Miami Dolphins and their quest to challenge the New England Patriots for the division crown. Suh has spent the past 5 seasons in the NFL racking up nearly half-a-milion dollars in fines and being dominant. He amassed 36 sacks over that span, and last season he recorded his highest sack and tackle total since his rookie season, in which he was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.

The Miami Dolphins, who narrowly missed an opportunity at a playoff berth last year, will welcome Suh’s talents with open arms. They ranked outside the Top 10 in both total yards allowed and rushing yards allowed per game, which is rarely a formula any viable contender can afford to work with. By contrast, the Detroit Lions ranked in the Top 5 in both categories, and Suh suiting up for all but 2 games during his 5-year Lions tenure absolutely has something to do with that.

Suh’s deal is expected to grant him a whopping $60 million guaranteed.
