The Signal spotlights Chief waKiL’s “Ambidextrous.”

While signed as a producer-songwriter under Brian Kennedy, rapper waKiL had the opportunity to work on projects for the major names like Big Sean, Kelly Rowland, Nelly, Frank Ocean, Three Six Mafia, Brandy, and more. After contributing to several major projects, the emcee released his own debut album, Little Giant Epic, in November of 2013, and the Kansas City native has racked up over 240,000 plays on SoundCloud since. The LA transplant has taken to scoring television and film, on top of already having his work placed on shows like the 50 Cent-produced show Power, as well as 22 Jump Street; Chief waKiL recently landed placements on FOX’s smash-hit series Empire, ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder, and the feature film Horrible Bosses 2.

Today, waKiL makes his first appearance of 2015 by linking up with All Def Digital’s The Signal to premiere the visuals for “Ambidextrous,” which can be found on his latest album. Enlisting the help of the talented JinjooTheGuitarGirL, waKiL raps about pushing the boundaries of hip-hop and creating his own lane.
