Yesterday the Roots announced that their annual picnic is returning to their hometown of  Philly for it’s biggest show yet.

On Saturday, May 30th Festival Pier in Philadelphia will hold the 8th Annual Roots Picnic. The three stages will feature 18 talented artist including: The Weeknd, The Roots, Erykah Badu (backed by The Roots), A$AP Rocky, Phantogram, DJ Mustard, Hiatus Kaiyote, Rae Sremmurd, Chronixx and the Zincfence Redemption, Afrika Bambaataa, Hudson Mohawke, DJ Windows 98 (Win Butler of Arcade Fire), Raury, King Britt, Bishop Nehru, Moses Sumney, Brianna Cash, Marc E. Bassy, Donn T. This year the picnic has expanded by adding a third stage, allowing for even more fans to attend. Last year the Roots Picnic was sold-out, featuring artists like Janelle Monáe, Action Bronson and Snoop Dogg. Tickets will go on sale Friday, March 13 and will be available Ticketmaster.com.
