Damn, Dame.

Dame Dash has literally been making the headlines consistently as of lately. Recently, he has been on Sway in the Morning and hit us with lots of different topics like why he dropped Kanye West and spoke on Jay Z possibly being affiliated with informants. This morning, Dame stopped by The Breakfast Club and things literally weren’t a bit boring at all.

Early in the interview, DJ Envy asked Dame about how he first connected with his former Roc-A-Fella partner Jay Z. Dame responded by questioning Envy, saying, “Everybody knows that answer. Do you know the answer?  You tell us the answer.”

Envy proceeded to explain why he asked, and said it was because he has never asked about the relationship with Dame on The Breakfast Club.

Dame then turned to Charlamagne Tha God and said, “If somebody asks you the same questions 25 times, maybe 2,500 times, do you still want to talk about the same thing? That’s just me being human. I don’t care what platform we’re on. I’m sick of talking about it. Let’s talk about something else… No more Jay Z questions. I’ve answered them all.”

The interview then turns into a complete rant from Dame about the media asking him about his old industry relationships. He also speaks about why he is always asked to talk about “other men.” He says he is tired of talking about Jay-Z, and says “You got the hat on, you ask him, you calling out names, you call them.”

The rest of the interview goes from awkward to heated as Dame clashed with the hosts over rumors, social media, the Roc’s association with Def Jam, and other issues. Envy and Dame continue to clash because of Dame’s “taste level” in saying Envy doesn’t own anything regardless of his investments.  Dame further proceeded to deliver blows, telling Envy, “You sound smart to somebody dumb.”

Ouch…

It seems every time Dame gets on the radio, he is going off on people asking about Jay or in his words “other men” or his mentality on investing in himself and being his own boss. I don’t know about y’all, but I am tired of hearing his ranting. He is such an intelligent individual but it gets clouded because of his closed mind on talking about other things and current events that don’t involve him. This is the radio business. Let’s be honest, you haven’t been as relevant as other “men” in this industry. So, if you truly feel like that, you have two options, give it up and just answer the questions or don’t do interviews anymore. Simple.
