The Baby Boy and Empire actors both have their hands in the Cookie jar
In what was a pretty funny and entertaining “spat” on Instagram, two of Taraji P. Henson‘s big screen/small screen lovers battled back and forth about who Taraji–Cookie on Empire, Yvette on Baby Boy–liked more. First, Tyrese took his crack at Empire actor Derek Luke.
Jody has spoken. After this, Luke–whose character, Malcolm, plays the head of security at Empire Records and recently entered into a physical romantic relationship with Cookie–retaliated, and reminded Tyrese what year it is.
As you can see, Derek Luke made it very clear from jump street that he was merely returning a playful jab. Good to see that they can take a joke. Taraji didn’t have anything to say about all of this, but chances are she was watching from a distance, admiring her work.
Catch the season finale of Empire this Wednesday, March 18. It’ll be wild.
