While his label-mate Kendrick Lamar plots a takeover with To Pimp A Butterfly, TDE MC Jay Rock is finally coming closer to the release of his own second album, according to Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith.

Last year TDE founder and president Top Dawg revealed that Jay Rock’s yet-to-be-titled sophomore album would follow Ab-Soul‘s These Days… as the next release from the label. Since then, news of another Jay Rock album has been pretty silent, but in the meantime, Rock has shown out as a guest artist on tracks like Kendrick Lamar’s “Money Trees,” Isaiah Rashad‘s “Shot You Down,” and even YG‘s “I Just Wanna Party.”

Last night Top Dawg went to his Twitter and promised fans that progress has been made on the album, and posted pictures of completed music to further prove his point.
