Raven-Symone, Derek Luke, Jussie Smollett, Bryshere Gray Attend ‘Empire’ Album Release Bash

Original Soundtrack from Season 1 of Empire entered the Billboard 200 chart at number one, selling a total of 130,000 equivalent album units.

This is the first television soundtrack to debut on top of the chart in five years since Glee. The show’s original tunes have also sold  one million digital singles to date.  On Monday night, Hennessy V.S presented the album release party for the soundtrack at Stage 48 in NYC. Upon arrival, cast members Jussie Smollett and Bryshere Gray met with 100 lucky fans before jumping on stage to perform.
Jussie Smollett got on stage and was followed by Bryshere Gray who came out saying  “We know what you want to listen to”  and immediately they went into the fan favorite “Drip Drop” record. The guys continued to perform select tracks on the album then Jussie stopped the music and said “I want to dedicate all of this to my Baby Momma” then Raven Symone walked on to the stage. Other notables in attendance seen enjoying Hennessy V.S cocktails actor Derek Luke, rapper Uncle Murda, Ed Lover and Jasmine Sanders.
