Lil Wayne’s protege’s career could be over real soon
Lil Twist has been signed to Lil Wayne‘s YMCMB label since 2007, but his output has been minimal. A mixtape here and there, an occasional marquee guest spot, including several appearances on Young Money’s first compilation album, We Are Young Money. He’s best known for his friendship with Justin Bieber–which has come under fire in its own right–and he may be known for an even more serious out-of-the-booth incident, depending on the outcome of this case.
According to a TMZ report, Twist has been charged with six felonies for breaking into actor Kyle Massey‘s house, and assaulting Massey’s brother. The judge slapped Twist with burglary, grand theft, battery, and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, among other charges. Recently, Massey scored recurring roles in TV dramas Gotham and The Electric Company, but many will know him best from his role is Raven-Symone‘s younger brother on That’s So Raven, and an impressive run on the 11th season of Dancing With The Stars.
Details on the incident in question are vague, but one day in November, Twist was kicked out of Massey’s house, and the Young Money rapper returned with brass knuckles and beat down Chris Massey, in addition to stealing several of his belongings.
