Empire took a crazy twist in episode 10, when Olivia’s boyfriend had Cookie hostage in Lucious’s home. Of course Lucious’ still loves Cookie, so he jumped up to protect her like her knight in shining armor. But at the same time he lets the world know that Lola is really his baby and not Jamal’s. So Jamal went from Lola’s dad to Lola’s brother. Either way, she’s still a Lyon
