Wherever the master tally of Rappers Getting In Legal Trouble is, assuming one is being kept by somebody, DMX–born Earl Simmons–more than likely tops it.

The New York Daily News reports today that a 21-year old New Jersey man is accusing DMX and his entourage of robbing him at a Newark gas station early this morning, just after midnight. According to the report, the 21-year old spotted DMX at said gas station, and began engaging the multi-platinum artist in music-related conversation, only to have one of Simmons’ crew members pull a gun on him and demand that he give up whatever cash he had. After producing a wad of cash from his pockets, the 21-year old says DMX snatched the money, and fled in a convoy of black Escalades along with his entourage.

Fortunately for the alleged victim, he trailed the SUVs closely enough to pull one of the license plate numbers, but no arrests have been made thus far.
