If you aren’t hip to Jay Bel, Jimi Tents, and the covert, ironically titled Sleeper Camp operation they’re leading, now is your time to acclimate yourself. The collective of producers, rappers, singers, producers, creatives, videographers and more have focused their energies behind two very talented emcees, Jay Bel and Jimi Tents, who have both released notable solo records over the past few weeks, and now join forces for “Trans Euro.”

Jay Bel is prepping his debut long-player, Bohemia, for next month, and “TransEuro” is an appropriate introduction to his talents. Though his delivery and cadence are subdued, much like this brooding love ballad, Bel is a more than adequate lyricist, and when paired with his buddy Tents, there are few duos as young as these two–if any–that can compete.
