The chef is cookin baby! #FILA
With his sixth studio album, F.I.L.A (Fly International Luxurious Art), coming late April, The god, Raekwon releases the second single, “1,2,1,2”, featuring Snoop Dogg.
What do we think? Well firstly, the production by L.A’s, Scoop Deville, is hard. He’s known to lace some pretty ill beats for several heavyweights in hip-hop. Chef delivers the fly sh*t as always, and still sounds brand new accompanied by the OG, Snoop, who kicks his bars laid back and gangsta-like. The hype vocals from Ghostface also shine on this power-driven record, lol. I can definitely see the DJ’s playing this in the clubs.
So far, I’m digging the direction of this album. It’s great seeing pioneers in the culture building with each other, keeping up with the times and composing ill sh*t.
