It was 27 years ago today that Public Enemy released their classic second studio album “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back”. Its beautiful lyricism brought in ideas of politics, history, and social activism all in one. The album was a perfect combination of product, street knowledge, and design.

It has been regarded by many as the greatest album in Hip Hop EVER. If you look at it through the lens of the culture as a whole, and how it reflected on the time period it was a part of; obviously each generation has their own feeling about what is the best album based on what resonated with them most. Have you ever heard it, and to all the tru-skool Hip Hop heads how did it influence you?
