April 13: With the Thunder needing help to get into the playoffs because of the tie-breaker they lost to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans were playing the Spurs on the last day of the regular and a Spurs win, with a Thunder win, would of ensured Westbrook a playoff invitation. When asked if he was rooting for the Spurs to win Westbrook had an interesting response.

All of these moments have made Westbrook into the player that he is today. He simply is a force of energy that can take over a game at any point. Though the Thunder have been eliminated from playoff contention, Westbrook gave his all on the court throughout the season.
