5.   MAC Sheen Supreme lipstick: Asian flower, $18

This lavender shade is best for a spring and/or summer day. The Sheen Supreme lipstick formula applies like lipgloss, but has the look of lipstick. It has a sheer look you may want to heavily load to show the color more. Asian Flower can appear pink as it fades; that just means it’s time to reapply.

4.  Bite Beauty Matte creme lip crayon: Tantin, $24

This creme lip crayon gives a matte look but is also moisturizing. The rose pink shade is perfect for everyday wear. The best part about the lip crayon is that the all colors are water resistant. The shape is nice too; with help of the pencil-like point, you’re able to line your lip, then fill it in with no mess!  You can find this at Sephora.

3.  Illamasqua: Flare $18.50

This bright orange lippy is a shade for any occasion. It’s definitely for the girl that wants to stand out. Flare is a creamy, long-lasting matte that glides on smoothly. It can be lightly worn for a more natural look, or layered to give it more color.  To give it an extra pop, add lipgloss the will make the orange brighter.

2.  Marc Jacobs: Anais $30

Nude is the go-to shade for any season, especially spring time. You can wear it during the day at work, and continue to rock out on the party scene at night. Anais is a part of MJ’s new nude sheer lip gel line.  The line has traditional nude shades in a new gellified formula, which goes on smoothly.  When I tried it the first time, I knew it was going to be a new fave.

1.  MAC’s Saint Germain ($16)

This seems like it’s every girl’s go-to pink lipstick. This hue is perfect for a sunny spring day. Whether you’re out with the girls, or out with your lover, you can’t go wrong with this shade. It’s a smooth lipstick, giving just the right amount of moisture. If you don’t like the lipstick look, you can always get the matching lip gloss for a glossy finish.

From brights to pastels, each shade comes in handy for diffrent occasions. I love “Anais” by Marc Jacobs for the day and “Flare” by Illamasqua for my night look.  Tell us which shade is your favorite! Tag @HerSource in your Instagram photos!
