This week’s edition of Off The Wall features the one that got away from New York’s Finest
There are thousands of people of claim to be graffiti writers, however, there are few respected by their peers for their consistent, unauthorized work on impromptu exhibit. “GOAL”, who also uses the moniker @joe_goalbino on Instagram, fulfills the above qualities which unfortunately, yet eventually gains the attention of the police.
The South Beach native caught a case last year for various counts of vandalism in Staten Island, New York based off the evidence from a YouTube clip, but the 34 year old artist/vandal’s case was dismissed because at least one of the officers involved in his arrest was also one of the officers mixed up in the Eric Garner choking death. It was never revealed which one of the officers was actually involved, however, it was enough to have all charges against Mr. Goalbino dropped.
