This past weekend the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards took place in Arlington, Texas and featured a collaboration between Christina Aguilera and Rascal Flatts.
More of a pop icon than a country singer, Christina Aguilera’s performance surprisingly paired well with Rascal Flatts music. The songs they performed together included “Shotgun” and “Riot,” a track off of Rascal Flatts latest “Rewind” album. Aguilera’s character on the hit TV show Nashville recently performed “Shotgun” so fan were welcomed with a familiar introduction. The end of their performance featured a full band and small choir and the crowd loved the duet performance. Check out the performance below:
