It was confirmed via Bet.com that R&B singers Kelly Rowland and Brandy Norwood have both landed new shows on the network.  Kelly‘s show will be a talent competition show, and will be searching for the next “hot singing sensation.” Brandy who is currently co-starring on the hit show “The Game,” will be starring in her very own scripted series.  Here’s a description of the two new shows below:
Chasing Destiny
As a founding member of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland knows what it takes to win. The talented vocalist, actor and competition judge has joined forces with BET to launch Chasing Destiny, a multiplatform search for the next blazing hot singing sensation that will bring together young women with all that’s required to meet Kelly Rowland’s standards for excellence.
Zoe Moon
A romantic comedy featuring Zoë Moon (Brandy Norwood), a newly divorced single mom embarking on her new life and career as a fledgling cosmetics mogul — but it won’t be easy. Her ex-husband is not ready to take a back seat in her life, nor is her precocious 10 year-old son ready for her new dating life.
