With covers on Vogue, W, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and now Instyle, SZA is quickly becoming a fashion icon.
Ms. Solana Rowe’s hair has been a hot topic as of late, and what better way to officially induct her into the fashion world than with an editorial in Instyle’s May issue. Signing with Top Dawg Entertainment in 2013 helped kickstart SZA’s music career, and now the fashion world is finally starting to take notice. Props should also be given to SZA, as she was and still is, the only female signee to the TDE label. Whether you consider her sound to be R&B,hip-hop, trip-hop, chill wave, or cloud rap, there is no denying SZA’s vocal and lyrical abilities. SZA’s written for Nicki Minaj, and has collaborated with the likes of Chance the Rapper, Isaiah Rashad and Schoolboy Q.
