NJ emcee, J. Littles, is ready to take the world of hip-hop by storm. If you’re a fan of lyrical, underground Hip-Hop, and appreciate good story-telling, Littles should be in your radar as an artist to check for. He wants to be known as the voice of struggle, that artists can relate to when working towards bringing your vision to fruition.

As a proud Latino, he aims to be as influential as many of the heavyweights, such as, Joell Ortiz and Bodega Bamz. Drawing influence from the golden era in hip-hop, the legends, greats who have passed, and the many unsung heroes like The Beatnuts and Tony Touch, J. Littles has relatable similarities. He says, “I’m more influenced by artists that have substance and positive messages”, identifying with artists like: Tupac, Lupe Fiasco, Common and Black Star, to name a few. Through his music, you’ll run into some of his struggles before taking hip-hop seriously, as well as his greatest life-changing blessings.

From being lost in the streets, to finding his great purpose in life, it’s easy to see the heart-felt emotion he transcribes to the paper. Littles tells us the love of his 18-month old son motivates him to rise and always raise up.

Look out for his EP coming in May, titled, 7 Day Cleanse, which will feature Joell Ortiz, Bodega Bamz, and Thirstin Howl III.
