As the world comes together to support Baltimore in the death of Freddie Gray, a town that is too familiar with police brutality is dealing with the aftermath of a protest that left two people shot. According to CNN, Late Tuesday  into early Wednesday morning, hundreds of demonstrators gathered to protest in support of Baltimore.

As people were protesting shots rang out and two people were shot. It’s unsure if the shooting is related to the protests or a separate incident. Jeff Small, a spokesperson for the city of Ferguson, says that police are having a hard time investigating the shooting because police officers are having rocks thrown at them. The city of Ferguson has been dealing with many protests since the shooting of teenager Michael Brown Jr. It’s unknown the injuries of the victims.
