The Hollywood Reporter recently confirmed that the planned reboot of The Osbournes reality show is dead in the water. News of the show’s resurrection first came about when matriarch Sharon Osbourne hinted at a six-to-eight episode revival some time ago. The show was MTV’s most-viewed freshman show when it first debuted, and now the axing of the revival has left quite a few of the Osbournes without gigs, especially Kelly Osbourne, who is no longer on E!’s Fashion Police.

“We are no longer talking to the Osbournes about a series; that’s not going to happen,” Susan Levison, executive VP of original programming and production at VH1, told THR. “We wish we could have worked it out, but it just didn’t come together for us. The family has been absolutely lovely and we wish them the best. We’d love to figure out a way to work with them at some point in the future.”
