Mayweather is planning to give opportunities to other boxers
Following his unanimous decision victory over Manny Pacquiao in what some may call was the “Fight of The Century” this past Saturday, the undefeated champion announced that he will give up his titles according to ESPN’s Robert Flores. Furthering the explanation, BBC sports writer Dan Roan made public a statement by Mayweather via twitter stating: “Other fighters need to have a chance. I’m not greedy.”
This by all means is a very interesting move and possibly could shake up the boxing world by giving other fighters the chance to compete for his many belts in different boxing championships. Good to see Mayweather planning to take the boxing world further while at the same time solidifying his legacy.
