Once again it’s on!
Dave East is definitely consistent. That’s really the best way to describe him, besides the fact that he’s raw as hell. Some rappers jack beats, but emcees like East make them sound like original versions.
Hoppin on a a Jay-Z and Beanie Siegel classic, “Once Again Its On”, East takes ya’ll on a ill poetic ride through New York City. Paying homage to the greats and delivering that potent product is Dave’s forte, it’s evident and unmistakeable, to say the least. I’ll tell you this much, at this point, it isn’t just the streets who are paying attention. With solid co-signs from Nas, Puff, Raekwon and The LOX, just to name a few, we see the direction Harlem’s own is going.
