Welp New York fans, your favorite guy Isiah Thomas is back in the Big Apple
He’s back folks. Just when the city of New York and its beloved basketball fans thought they wouldn’t see Isiah again, the once crafty point guard in the league managed to make it back to the Big Apple. Seven years after getting the plug pulled as the Knicks head coach, it is reported that Isiah Thomas will now be the new president of the WNBA’s New York Liberty.
An ESPN report states Thomas will also in addition to being the president of the team, will have ownership stake in the team. It’s been a tough ride for Isiah since departing from the Knicks in 2007-2008 season so let’s hope he has a better outcome this time around in New York especially in the Garden.
