Steph Curry shoots his way right onto the Wheaties box
Shortly after winning the NBA’s Most Valuable Player Award for the 2014-2015 season, Steph Curry keeps the nods coming with his new award, but not in the form of a trophy. Curry is now the latest athlete to appear on the iconic Wheaties cereal box beginning in June. According to the marketing manager of Wheaties Jamie Lyon, he stated: “Stephen Curry is an incredibly talented player who has had a truly remarkable season, Team Wheaties loves that he is not only an amazing individual player, but he is also an inspirational team leader”.
Sporting a grey suit on the front box and his athletic gear along side his UA “Curry One” kicks on the back cover, it looks like Wheaties and General Mills picked the perfect guy for the job. It was no question that Curry was not only dererving of his MVP award this season, but this cereal box cover is just the icing on the cake.
