VH1’s Save the Music Foundation will host a panel around STEAM education (injecting ‘arts’ into typical science, tech, engineering and math curriculum) tonight at the Paley Center for Media in New York.
The panel represents a shift in VH1’s work, going from donating instruments to schools to real advocacy work. Panelists include: Golden Globe & Emmy-nominated actor Masi Oka, Grammy-nominated R&B artist Kenny Lattimore and Rosemarie Truglio of Sesame Workshop. People are invited to attend the event in New York City, watch via livestream and join the conversation using #STEAMAssembly. The event will take place on May 7, at 7 p.m. EST.
