A complete breakdown of this week’s Hip-Hop sales
You may not have known it, but Raekwon dropped an album on April 28th. Fly International Luxurious Art, Raekwon’s sixth studio LP, sold 6,738 copies in its opening week. Compared to his last album, 2011’s Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, these sales are down nearly 22,000 units.
Last week’s chart-topper, Yelawolf’s Love Story, suffered a major sales decline as well. Yelawolf managed to move 13,131 units of his new album off the shelves, a decrease of 76% from its debut week in stores. Sneaking his way back to the top of the rap chart this week was Drake, who sold 35,235 copies of If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late including streams.
