Lebron James is going to have to tell his coaching staff to chill out when it comes to making big decisions. Cavaliers head coach David Blatt almost sent his own team into a 3-1 deficit in their series with the Chicago Bulls. After Bulls guard Derrick Rose drove to the basket and scored with 9 seconds left on the clock, Blatt wanted to call a timeout to set up a play for the final possession. Only problem is, he didn’t have one. As shown in the video above, Blatt is physically pulled back by assistant coach Tyronn Lue before a referee can see him signaling for a timeout. Brings back images of Chris Webber against UNC, no?
Blatt commented on his near mistake to Sports Illustrated‘s Ben Golliver.

The series is now tied at 2-2 in the best of 7 series, and the Cavs have regained home court advantage. Can LeBron finish the job?
