Making effortless plays and scoring ridiculous goals, Alex is one of the primary reason why that the Capitals are just one more game away from pulling the upset on the Rangers. But long and behold, the President Trophy winners (NHL’s best regular season record holders) have some key weapons of their own. With scorers like Rick Nash and Martin St. Louis and a one of the top goaltenders in Henrik Lundqvist, The defending Eastern Conference champs is showing hockey fans hope in the Big Apple, letting them know they not going down without a fighting by winning the last 2 games in Washington. Don’t be surprised that when you turn on ESPN SportsCenter tonight, this game will be the highlight coverage as it has the makings to be a classic one. GAME 7….Madison Square Garden….Get your popcorn ready folks.

Despite Harper’s amazing start to the young MLB season and the Pats having issues figuring out how to win fairly, playoff time is the real MVP for fans such as myself. With nothing but down-to-the-wire, hard nose playoff action taking over our television, you have no choice but to love this time of the year. This is time where your favorite is a superstar in the making or just a mediocre bum who knows how to win in the regular season. But now, it’s a new season, playoff time is slowly reaching to the highest peak of excitement. Mississipi’s own Big K.R.I.T said it best in his song “Hometown Hero“, This is the concrete jungle/ The game don’t fumble/Stand tall like Mutumbo. Basically, when the pressure is on you during crunch time, you better bring your game, and not your name. It’s win or go home time. Time to show up and perform!
