The buddy comedy is filming now.
Production has officially begun on the buddy comedy Central Intelligence in Boston, starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. The movie tells the story of a one-time bullied high schooler who becomes a CIA agent (Johnson) and is on his way home for his high school reunion. He’s also still on a top-secret case, and enlists the help of a former big man on campus (Hart), which leads to lots of shootouts, double crosses, and craaaaazy situations.
The film is being directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, director of hit comedies like Dodgeball and We’re The Millers. Central Intelligence will also star Oscar-nominated actress Amy Ryan and Danielle Nicolet and is set for a June 17, 2016 release.
